Description	:	DAILY GAZETTE Emporia, Kansas, Monday, October 10, 1932 RICHARD G. JONES Dead Richard G. Jones, 90, died at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at his home, 702 Union. He had been sick three weeks. He was the son of Richard and Sophia Jones and was born December 29, 1841, at Aberyst- with, Wales. Mr. Jones came to America in 1869, stopping first in Wisconsin. Jones, 90, died at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at his home, 702 Union. He had been sick three weeks. He was the son of Richard and Sophia Jones and was born December 29, 1841, at Aberyst- with, Wales. Mr. Jones came to America in 1869, stopping first in Wisconsin. He came to Emporia in 1870 and a year later took a claim in Harvey county near the present site of Burrton. Mr. Jones was married to Miss Henrietta M. Gorvin at Burrton. Mr. and Mrs. Jones lived at Burrton until 1912 when they moved back to Emporia. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church. Mr. Jones is survived by his wid- ow; Mrs. Henrietta M. Jones, one daughter, Ethel H. Jones, and one son. Percival R. Jones, who all live at 702 Union. A sister, Mrs. Jane Rowlands, of Burrton, also sur- vive. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Roberts-Blue chapel. The casket will be open at the chapel this eve- ning and until 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. Rev. E. S. Roberts, pastor of the Second Presbyterian church will conduct the services. Interment will be at Burrton where the Rev. Mr. Cotton, of McPherson, will con- duct short services at the grave, at 3:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. Note: Obit provided by Sharon Hall
