He was born Jan. 7, 1943 in marshalltown, the son of C.B. and Helen E. (Miller) lamb. He served in the army during the Vietnam War. He married Margaret J. Baker on Aug. 8, 1964, at Fort Belvoir, Va. He is survived by his wife Margaret; his mother Helen, of Marshalltown; a son William L. Lamb of Evansdale; two daughters, Robin R. lamb of Cedar Falls, and Susan J. Lamb of Evansdale; four brothers, Don Lamb and Kenneth Lamb of Marshalltown, Gary Lamb of St. Louis and Larry Good of Marshalltown; two sisters, Shirely Sternola of Golden Colo. and Elaine Budke of Edina, Minn. and four grandchildren.
