Description	:	Mr. Richard Linwood “Dick” Price, 80, a resident of 433 Greenleaf Square in Port Orange, Fla., departed this life at 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2005, in The Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Fla. He had been in declining health for sometime but death was unexpected. He was born Aug. 15, 1924, at Belington, the son of the late Howard and Cinda Hill Price. Read More	Mr. Richard Linwood “Dick” Price, 80, a resident of 433 Greenleaf Square in Port Orange, Fla., departed this life at 9:30 p.m. Friday, June 17, 2005, in The Halifax Hospital in Daytona Beach, Fla. He had been in declining health for sometime but death was unexpected. He was born Aug. 15, 1924, at Belington, the son of the late Howard and Cinda Hill Price. On Sept. 7, 1946, he was united in marriage to the former Betty Reel, who survives at their home in Port Orange, Fla. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, one daughter, Cinda Sanders and husband, Robert, of Baltimore, Md., and one son, Gregory Price and wife, April, of Port Orange, Fla.; three grandchildren, Tracey Laber and husband, Paul, Alice Shaffer and husband, Mason, and Cole Price. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters and seven brothers. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Mr. Price attended the schools of Belington and, in his former years, he was employed as a bus driver with the Greyhound Bus lines in Washington, D.C., retiring in 1977. Mr. Price served in the U.S. Army with the 125th Anti Air Craft Artillery Gun Battalion during World War II in the European Theater and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He was a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a Protestant by faith. Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington with the Rev. Bob Baer officiating. Interment will follow in the Fraternal Cemetery in Belington where full military rites will be accorded by the American Legion Post 44 of Philippi. The Talbott Funeral Home of Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Richard Linwood “Dick” Price. From 23 Jun 2003.
