Rick was born on September 27, 1957, in Charles City, Iowa, the son of Richard and Virginia (Bridges) Hinders. He attended school in Clarksville. Rick was united in marriage to Holly Renn on October 4, 1980, at Peace United Church of Christ in Waverly. Rick worked several jobs prior to starting at Winnebago in Hampton in 1987. Rick always enjoyed his Sunday drives with Holly to the area casinos and shopping for dogs to add to his collection. He loved his Budweiser, having dessert and fishing. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family. Rick is survived by his wife, Holly Hinders of Clarksville; a daughter, Steph (Lanny) Pierce of Clarksville; a son, Tristan (Steph) Hinders of Hampton; a daughter, Bethanie (special friend, Colton Wright) Hinders of Clarksville; his mother, Virginia of Shell Rock; five grandchildren, Cole, Zoe, and Savannah Pierce; and Alexa and Payton Hinders; a sister, Vernita (Dean) Hobson; a sister, Vickie (Jeff) Chesnut; and a brother, Ron (Missy) Hinders; all of Clarksville; a sister, Val (John) Marks of Plainfield; a sister-in-law, Carla (Gene) Miller of Plainfield; a brother-in-law, Dean (Deb) Renn of Waverly and a sister-in-law, Terri (Yance) Jones of Clarksville and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Hinders; a daughter, Tiffanie Hinders; his faithful companion Bud; his father and mother in law, Virgil and Dorothy Renn and a nephew, Jeremiah Miller. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Val Swinton officiating. Burial will be held in St. John’s U.C.C. Cemetery, Pleasant Hill, rural Nashua. Visitation will be he held on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly and also for one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly is assisting the family.
