Mr. Lohnes was an outstanding citizen and his life was most exemplary. He was a loyal and faithful member of the United Church in many of its activities. Mr. Lohnes was an outstanding citizen and his life was most exemplary. He was a loyal and faithful member of the United Church in many of its activities. His life was looked up to as a model to copy and pattern to keep men in the path of truth, justice and righteousness. His good works will live after him. Mr. Lohnes was thrice married. His first marriage was to Miss Antoinette Ritcey. His second wife was Ida Lantz, of Pleasantville. His surviving wife was Miss Dorcas Ritcey. The late Capts. Obediah, James, Daniel and Hibbert were brothers. Mrs. John M. Ritcey was a sister. His children surviving, all by his second marriage, are Mrs. Byron Ritcey, Mrs. William Deal, Foster of New York, and Nelson and Raymond at home. His eldest son, Cecil was killed in action overseas. The funeral was held on Tuesday and was conducted by Rev. E. Rowlands of Trinity United Church. His widow also survives. The funeral was largely attended. Interment made in Shepherd Hill Cemetery.
