Description	:	Richard Stephen Emino, 56 of Centre, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born in Bridgewater, he was the son of the late Hallett Emino and Phyllis (Wile) Dorey. During his career Richard worked for the Town of Lunenburg 13 years and part-time with the Lunenburg Curling Club. Within him there shone a gentle and kind spirit which endeared him to many. Richard is survived by his wife Paulette; brothers, Robert, “Bobbie” (Jean) Emino, Bridgewater; Jeffrey (Joy) Emino, Dartmouth; step-mother Sylvia Emino, Bridgewater; mother-in-law, Gloria Greek, Blue Rocks; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Emino, Conquerall Bank and Lola Greek, Mahone Bay; brother-in-law, Ronald Greek, Blue Rocks; one niece and several nephews. He was predeceased by an infant sister, Charlotte and brother, Kenneth. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy. # 3, Lunenburg where funeral service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM, Rev. Jane Reid, officiating. Interment will be in Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, the MS Society, St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blue Rocks or to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter.
