Description	:	Richard Trzpuc, age 56 of Valley City, ND died Feb. 19, 2012 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley city. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Thursday Feb. 23rd at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Valley City with Msgr. Dennis Skonseng celebrant. Visitation will be from 4 PM until 7 PM Wednesday at the Lerud-Schuldt Funeral Home with a Prayer Service beginning at 7 PM. Richard Trzpuc was born June 6, 1955 to Francis and Mercedith Trzpuc of Marion, ND. He attended school at Marion and on May 12, 1978 was married to Roxanne Moritz of Valley City. Richard and Roxanne had four children. He was a self-employed painter most of his life and also groomed snowmobile trails for the state. He was working for Mickelson Construction clearing trees from the Sheyenne River when an accident forced him into early retirement. On Feb. 26, 2010 he moved to the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City where he made numerous friends. He liked to keep the staff and residents "on their toes". Richard loved spending time with his family, camping, horseback riding, or just having a family and friends cook out. He loved Chevy pickups, old horse drawn machinery, and eagles. Richard is survived by his wife Roxanne, 3 sons, Rocky (Jennifer) Trzpuc, Fargo, ND, Rusty (Lexie) Trzpuc, Livingston, MT, and Ryan Trzpuc, Valley City, ND; a daughter Rachel Trzpuc, Valley City, ND; 3 grandchildren, Jayden, Madison, and Lyla Trzpuc; his parents Francis and Mercedith Trzpuc; brothers, Del, Kenny, and Jeff Trzpuc; sisters Florine Fredrickson, Marie Carroll, Theresa Robinson, and Julie Trzpuc.
