Description	:	Thanks to contributor #48786212 Schuyler- Rick L. Kohler, 55, of Schuyler, died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Christ United Methodist Church in Schuyler, with the Rev. Fred Anderson officiating. Burial is at the Schuyler Cemetery. Visitation is from noon-8p.m. today at Kracl Funeral Chapel in Schuyler and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Lunch will be provided at the church hall following services. Mr. Kohler was born December 31, 1949, in Columbus, to Emerson and Nadine (Davenport) Kohler. He graduated from Schuyler High School in 1968 and attended Wayne State Teachers College. He then entered the U.S. Army Reserves, where he served from 1970-78. He married Dorothy Sam Clark, April8, 1972 in Newman Grove. He lived in Schuyler and was a truck driver. He also owned and operated Sams Fireworks Stand. He was a member of the Schuyler Eagles, Schuyler Legion, Schuyler Golf Club and was assistant director of Civil Defense for several years. He was a past member of the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife of Schuyler, one daughter of Columbus; one son, of Kearney, and his mother of Schuyler; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his father.
