Description	:	Ricky is survived by his parents, Delbert and Velma Morris. Joint funeral services were conducted Monday, September 22,at 10:30 a.m. at the Exeter Congregational church for Ricky and his fiancée Debra L. Volkmer. They were to be married the following spring. Joint funeral services were conducted Monday, September 22,at 10:30 a.m. at the Exeter Congregational church for Ricky and his fiancée Debra L. Volkmer. They were to be married the following spring. The Nebraska Signal 3 Oct. 1975: Ricky Lee Morris was born into this world on May 12, 1955, to Delbert and Velma Morris, at the old Stromsburg hospital. He lived on a farm north of Stromsburg until 1960, when his parents moved to Osceola, where he attended elementary and high school, and he graduated in May of 1974 He attended Sunday school and was baptized in the Methodist church on April 7, 1963. Ricky became engaged to Debra Volkmer in 1973, and they were to be married as soon as her back surgery would allow. They shared so many things together, football games, bowling and fishing. He died on September 19, 1975, at the age of 20 years in a two-car accident; his Deb also died in the accident. He is survived by his father and mother, Delbert and Velma Morris; and siblings. He was preceded in death by four uncles and tow aunts. Services for Ricky and Debra were held at the Congregational church, and burial was in the Exeter cemetery.
