Description	:	MAILMAN, Ricky Wilfred, passed away suddenly over night October 29th, in his home in Middlewood. Born March 3, 1960 he was the elder son of the late Wilfred Mailman and Marina Mailman of Bridgewater, formerly of Chelsea. Ricky was born to be a mechanic, even as a child he loved to take things apart and put them back together. Read More	MAILMAN, Ricky Wilfred, passed away suddenly over night October 29th, in his home in Middlewood. Born March 3, 1960 he was the elder son of the late Wilfred Mailman and Marina Mailman of Bridgewater, formerly of Chelsea. Ricky was born to be a mechanic, even as a child he loved to take things apart and put them back together. Ricky enjoyed hunting with his father and some of his many friends when he was younger as well as snowmobiling and 4 Wheeling. He first studied to be a marine diesel mechanic and later as a heavy equipment mechanic, he was very proud when he received his Red Seal. Ricky's last position was as a mobile mechanic with the Dept. Of Highways. He loved to be out in his yard by the fire with friends and his dog, currently Sofie (the old black dog), of course there would be country music playing and he would have a few stories and jokes to tell. He often said "I'm just Rick" but he was never just Rick! to those who knew him. Besides his mother he is survived by his Common-law wife of 22 years, Wanda Conrad; daughter Krystal Mailman, Mount Uniacke; son Troy (Karly Patriquin) Mailman, Waverly; stepsons Tyler (Tasha Hirtle) Conrad, Voglers Cove; Brandon Conrad, Sackville; granddaughters Ella & Kori Mailman, Waverly; sister Wendy Mailman, Bridgewater; brother and sister-in-law Bradley & Sue Mailman, Hamilton, Ont., Step-nephew Christopher Nalesso, Hamilton, Ontario; sister-in-law Barb (Mike) Muise; sister-in-law Michell (Mahlon) Conrad; sister-in-law Kathy Snow; brother-in-law Christopher Hirtle & their families. Besides his father he was predeceased by his paternal grandparents Jason and Hattie Mailman, New Elm Road and maternal grandparents Walter and Mable Henley, Chelsea. Visitation will be 1-2pm Thursday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. Casual dress appreciated. Graveside Committal will follow at 2:30pm in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to SHAID Animal Shelter or the Charity of your choice.
