Mr Geary had been in failing health for some time and his demise was not unexpected. The funeral will be held at the Methodist church on Tuesday afternoon Mr Geary leaves to mourn his death a wife, one son and one daughter, Mrs Howard Heacock of Sac City. The Odebolt News - Thursday , March 16th, 1916 - Mr Geary, an old and esteemed resident of Early, died Saturday afternoon after an illness of several months. Mr Geary has acted as janitor for the ME church for many years and was always an obliging and conscientious man. He was as one of the landmarks of the town having settled here half a century ago. he was also a member of the GAR and the local post. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the ME church. Interment was in the local cemetery.
