Born in Calgary on January 20, 1937, the late Mrs. Pittman was raised and educated in Coutts. Rita married her husband, Lyle on October 27, 1956 in Milk River. Rita and Lyle farmed together on the family farm. She has resided on the farm until her passing. Rita enjoyed socializing with people, cooking and she loved making craft. she served on the Border Counties General Hospital Board for many years. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends. Besides her loving husband, Lyle, Rita is survived by a daughter, Mona Rae (David) Seward of Foremost; two sons, Glen (Colene) Pittman and Duane (Dolores) Pittman, both of Milk River; a grandchildren, Justin, Layne, Ryan, Andrea, Scott, Craig, Kevin, Jeralyn and Blair; and two sisters, Carmel Gray of Lethbridge and Paulette (Darrel) Roscaine of Calgary. Rita was predeceased by her parents John and Margaret Wollersheim; and a brother-in-law, Dick Gray. Friends and family are invited to attend Vigil rites at 7:30 P.M., on Monday, April 8, 1996 in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 309 Main Street North, Milk River. A Resurrection Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 9, 1996 in ST. PETER'S ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Main Street, Milk River with Father Richard Krawczyrski celebrant. Interment will follow in Milk River Cemetery
