She was born to the late Edwin and Ella Comeau on June 11, 1939, in South Dakota . She married the late Floyd Marzolf, with whom she had three children. Widowed at the age of 34, with three young children, Rita worked hard to care for her small family. She loved children and found joy in taking care of many children throughout her life. On October 8, 2009, Rita married David Boyer of Nampa, Idaho. In 2010, Rita was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved her new faith and church family. She and David were sealed in the Boise Idaho LDS temple on July 1, 2011. Rita is survived by her loving husband David, her three children: Judy Canfield (late Matt Canfield), Jeff Marzolf, and Floyd Marzolf (Marsha Marzolf) as well as nine stepchildren and spouses. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and greatgrandchildren . Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, in the Nampa 19th Ward LDS Chapel, 3007 Sunnyridge Rd. A viewing will be held at the church from 10-10 :45 a.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Zeyer Funeral Chapel, Nampa. 467-7300 **************************** Date of Birth: June 11, 1939 Died on: January 15, 2014 Nampa, ID-Funeral service for Rita Marzolf Boyer, 74, of Nampa, ID will be 11:00 am, Friday, January 24, 2014 at Carlsen Funeral Home in Ashley. Rita's sister, Kay Comeau Russo will lead the service. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery at Ashley. Bob Roggenkamp, First Counselor in Bishopric of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will officiate. Rita died January 15, 2014 at her home. Carlsen Funeral Home of Ashley has been entrusted with arrangements.
