Description	:	Rita Marie Grohmann, 70, of Bellwood, Nebraska, died Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Columbus, Nebraska. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 28, 10:30 A.M. at the Bellwood United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Schutt officiating. Interment will be in the Bellwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 4:00 ï¿½ 7:00 P.M. at the Gass Haney Funeral Home and on Saturday from 9:30 ï¿½ 10:30 A.M. at the church with a family prayer service at 10:15 A.M. Rita Marie Grohmann was born March 16, 1943, in Bellwood, Nebraska, to Joseph and Cora (Woods) Baer. She grew up in Bellwood and attended school in Bellwood. Rita spent most of her life in Columbus before moving back to Bellwood where she was an active member of the United Methodist Church. Rita was united in marriage to Anton Grohmann. Rita worked at David City Manufacturing where she worked for many years before her retirement. In 1992, Rita received her GED which she was very proud of. She was a member of the Methodist Church U.M.W. and the Daughters of Union Veterans. Rita loved being a grandma, watching her sons and grandsons driving their race cars and watching nascar on TV.
