Read More	Rita Marie Tiefenthaler, age 80, of Early, Iowa, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2004, at the Buena Vista Regional Medical Center in Storm Lake, Iowa. Rita Marie Determan was born September 15, 1923, in Early, the daughter of William J. and Mary A. (Gard) Determan. She attended Sacred Heart Grade School and High School graduating in 1941. On January 8, 1946, Rita was united in marriage to Elmer A. Tiefenthaler at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Early. They were the parents of four daughters: Jean, Joan, Marilyn, and Cheryl. Creating a loving and comfortable home for her family was Rita's priority. She enjoyed baking, cooking, quilting, embroidery, flowers, gardening, and reading. She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband Elmer; her daughters: Jean and husband Gary Schiebel of Bellevue, NE, Joan Tiefenthaler of Omaha, NE, Marilyn and husband Donald Glasnapp of Beaver Lake, NE, and Cheri Wallace of Denver, CO; five grandchildren: Dawne (John) Zagurski and their son Conner of Omaha, NE, Jason Schiebel of Bellevue, NE, Melissa Glasnapp of Maryville, MO, Aaron Glasnapp of Lincoln, NE, and Matthew Glasnapp of Beaver Lake, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 13th, 10:30 am, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Early, Iowa, with Father Patrick O'Kane officiating. Bernadine Pickhinke will accompany the Sacred Heart Choir. Pallbearers include the following: Dawne Zagurski, John Zagurski, Jason Schiebel, Melissa Glasnapp, Aaron Glasnapp, and Matthew Glasnapp. Burial will be at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Early under the direction of the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home. Visitation is Sunday, September 12th, 2:00-8:00 pm with family present from 2:00-3:30 and 6:00-8:00 at the Farber & Otteman Funeral Home in Sac City.
