She died at the Longview Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa on Thursday,June 27, 2013. Rita grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. Following her high school graduation she went to college for a year in Omaha. Read More	Rita Mary Hart Bierlein, age 95, the daughter of Alfred and Helen (Leonard) Greeson, was born June 21, 1918 in Avoca, Nebraska. She died at the Longview Home in Missouri Valley, Iowa on Thursday,June 27, 2013. Rita grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. Following her high school graduation she went to college for a year in Omaha. She was married to Ted Hart and was blessed with one son, Jerry. After Ted's death, Rita was married to Donald Bierlein until his death in 1993. She had many accomplishments in life, but her greatest was her son, Jerry. She loved living in Lamoni, owning a coffee shop cafe, not charging college students for food, receiving a hug and a thank-you was enough for her. She was kind to people, giving everyone a smile and genuinely caring about everyone, that was Rita. She meant and felt every moment of life and the people she was around. Don and Rita traveled to Texas every year and she so enjoyed riding a motorcycle. Green was her favorite color, headbands were her favorite thing to wear with her red hair, dancing, music, a glass of wine, some crackers, people, laughter, and love. She was such a delight to all who knew her, God created a one of a kind lady, named her Rita Mary Greeson, and said "Go live your life" and she did. Preceding her in death were her parents, husbands,Ted Hart and Don Bierlein, son Jerry Hart, stepson Mike Bierlein and brother Jack Greeson. Survivors include her daughter-in-law Beverly Hart, step daughters, Deb Keller and Donna Elliott and husband Tracy, four step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Rita earned respect and love, she gave with her heart her entire life. She went home to be with her loved ones. Funeral service will be held at Slade- O-Donnell Funeral Home in Lamoni Iowa on Monday July 1, 2013 at 10:30 am with Deacon Reinhold Kunze officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Lamoni IA.
