Description	:	Rita W. (Harper) Seda, 82 February 24, 1935 ~ November 13, 2017 Rita was born February 24, 1935, to Charles and Winifred (Ashford) Harper in England. She was raised in the Leiston, England area. Rita met Bob Seda while he was serving in the Air Force and stationed in England. The two were married on October 25, 1952. They were blessed with four children. The couple returned to the states and farmed outside of Dunlap, Iowa. Rita worked at the Something Special Craft Shop in Dunlap and at the Dunlap Care Center. They were blessed with four children. The couple returned to the states and farmed outside of Dunlap, Iowa. Rita worked at the Something Special Craft Shop in Dunlap and at the Dunlap Care Center. Rita was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, and the Boyer Valley Sunshine Club. She enjoyed bowling on a team for a number of years. Bob and Rita enjoyed traveling. Rita returned to England every two or three years. Sadly, Bob died on December 15, 2008. Rita died on Monday, November 13, 2017, at the Dunlap Specialty Care at the age of 82 years, eight months, and 22 days. Rita was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Seda; grandson, Bobby Gray; sister, Daphne Lokken and brother, Brian Harper. Left with memories are children: Gary (Cindy) Seda of Woodbine, Iowa; David (Monica) Seda of Omaha, Nebraska; John (Ann) Seda of Urbandale, Iowa; Donna (Todd) Nelson of Spokane, Missouri; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Thelma Sanders of England, Ann (Ray) Spiegel of Winfield, Kansas, Susan Hoover of Vancouver, Washington, Timothy Harper of England; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation 4-8 pm Thursday, November 16 at Fouts Funeral Home, Hwy 30 & Court Streets Dunlap, IA, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, followed at 7 by a prayer service. The funeral will be 10:30 am Friday, November 17 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 902 Montague St. Dunlap. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Dunlap. After graveside services, friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon back at the church.
