Mr. Johnson was born July 2, 1929 in Elkton, Ohio, a son of the late Clifford E. and Ethelda (Korn) Johnson, and had lived in this area all of his life. Mr. Johnson was born July 2, 1929 in Elkton, Ohio, a son of the late Clifford E. and Ethelda (Korn) Johnson, and had lived in this area all of his life. Robert was an owner and operator of the Johnson Mining Company. He was also a member of the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene. His wife, Harriett E. (Glenn) Johnson, whom he married in 1955, preceded him in death March 23, 2013. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, James, Clifford, Donald, Edward and Glenn; sisters, Alberta Mae Huffman, Violet Calvin, Alice McClugage, and Hazel Anderson. Robert is survived by his sons, Robert A. (Kathy) Johnson, Jr., James (Cathy) Johnson, and Dick Johnson and Thomas (Joyce) Johnson, all of Lisbon; sister, Judy (David) Linton of Salem; brother Gene (Kay) Johnson of Salem; grandchildren, Rob, Marcy, Amber, Codee, Cadee, Thomas Jr., Timothy, Jesslynne, Tonya, Tora, and Amber; and great grandchildren, Gaige, Marissa, Kobe, Cameron, Jacob, Makenzie, Caleb, Caden, Carter, Zachery, Madelyn, Charlotte, Melayna, Cameron, Caden and Taylor. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Lisbon Church of the Nazarene, 505 North Market Street, with Rev. William Dillon officiating. Burial will follow at the Lisbon Cemetery. The family will receive guests from 5pm to 8pm, Wednesday at the Eells-Leggett-Stauffer Funeral Home and from 10am until the time of services Thursday at the church.
