Description	:	FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE HELD FRIDAY FOR ROBERT EDWARDS Funeral services for Robert A. Edwards, 80, will be held at the Presbyterian church Friday at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. R.R. Craig, pastor, officiating, assisted by Rev. L. E. Vandiver. Burial will be in the Lockesburg, Ark., cemetery under the direction of the Coffey funeral home. Bearers will be Rex Chandler, J. H. Johnson, Fred Bruton, Carl Kendrick, Herbert Larcade and Newell Pratt. Mr. Edwards died at the Dickerson hospital in De Queen, Ark., Wednesday morning following an illness of more than a year's duration. The deceased came to Broken Bow in 1918 and was employed by the Choctaw Lumber Company for 16 or 17 years before moving to his farm south of town. Later he was employed as supervisor of road and bridge construction during the tenure of Dr. J. W. Simpson as county commissioner. Surviving are his wife; three sons, William Edwards, Seminole, John Edwards, Midland, Texas, and Thomas Edwards of Portland, Ore.; one daughter, Mrs. C. P. Hornburger of Hugo; one brother, E. K. Edwards of De Queen; one sister, Mrs. George Vaughn of Clearwater, Florida; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
