Rev. V. B. Hill had charge of the service and burial was in Prairie View cemetery. Mr. McKay was born in London, Indiana, October 30, 1855. In 1861 he left Indiana and came to Davis County, Iowa, and in 1885 to Gilman, where he has since resided. In November 1892, he was united in marriage to Ida Sebring, who survives him. The three children born to them, Charles, Mary, and Hattie, are living. One sister and a brother live in Ohio, and another sister and brother in Indianapolis. A brother James lives in Gilman, and William at Grinnell. Those who attended from out of town were William McKay and family, of Grinnell. Added on 02 Jan 2018
