Description	:	Robert Allen Dockter, son of Harold and Alice (Wolf) Dockter was born March 28, 1963 in Ashley, ND. This is where he grew up, graduating from Ashley High School with the class of 1982. He attended North Dakota State University and achieved his Bachelors in Administration. Robert worked at the Ashley Medical Center as Director of a four member hospital consortium sharing medical services. Read More	Robert Allen Dockter, son of Harold and Alice (Wolf) Dockter was born March 28, 1963 in Ashley, ND. This is where he grew up, graduating from Ashley High School with the class of 1982. He attended North Dakota State University and achieved his Bachelors in Administration. Robert worked at the Ashley Medical Center as Director of a four member hospital consortium sharing medical services. In 1993 he moved to Eureka, SD where he served as Administrator and CEO of the Eureka Community Hospital until June of 2013. He was united in marriage to Mary Lynn Emarine Eggiman on July 9, 1994 in Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead, MN. In August of 2013 Mary Lynn and Robert moved to West Fargo to be near family and medical specialists. Robert cherished every moment he spent with his friends and family, especially his granddaughters. He was known as a storyteller whom his family and others enjoyed. He collected Mountain Dew and North Dakota Bison football memorabilia. He enjoyed golfing and summers pontooning on the lake. Robert was not ever defined by his afflictions. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was on the Board of Trustees of SDAHO from 2003-2006. He was on numerous councils and committees and was awarded in 2008 the AHA Grassroots Advisory Award. Robert also offered his time and knowledge to serve on many local community organizations and committees over the years, including the Ashley, ND and Eureka, SD Development Corporations. Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn; son, Logan Eggiman; two grandchildren, and sister, Patricia Dockter. He was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Jessie Hulm.
