Read More	HILTBRAND , Robert Alvan Age 96, of Seven Mile, went to meet his Lord Tuesday, October 19, 2004, at 11:15 a.m. in the Vitas Hospice Unit at Fort Hamilton Hospital due to complications from a wood splitting accident two months ago. He was born January 18, 1908 in Cincinnati, the son of Robert and Ida (Rapp) Hiltbrand. He moved to Seven Mile at an early age and lived on the same farm since he was five years old. He was a well known farmer his entire life. He was a 1925 graduate of Seven Mile High School and married Thelma Augspurger on November 14, 1942 in Butler County and they enjoyed 62 years of married life. He was a member of the Seven Mile, Shiloh and Edgewood School Board for 28 years, Butler Landmark Board, Butler County Soil Conservation Board, Butler County Zoning Board; he was the oldest member of Trenton Mennonite Church, a member of the Church Council and a 71 year member of the K of P. He is survived by his wife, Thelma; a daughter, Anne Ridenour and husband, Phillip of Trenton; a son, David Hiltbrand and wife, Kathy of Seven Mile; two sisters, Florence Millice of Middletown and Helen Stout of St. Clair Township and four grandchildren, Matthew Ridenour, Karen Anne Hiltbrand, Katie Marie Hiltbrand and Justin Robert Hiltbrand. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Albert Hiltbrand and Edwin Hiltbrand in infancy and a sister Rosa Hiltbrand. Special thanks goes to all his nieces and nephews with special appreciation to his niece Susan Smith. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 22, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Rev. Glenn Martin and Rev. Dennis Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday evening, October 21 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family gives special thanks to the staff at Fort Hamilton Hospital, Schroeder Manor and Vitas Hospice for their care and concern the past two months. In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials be made to Trenton Mennonite Church, P.O. Box 19, 2 East Main Street, Trenton, Ohio 45067 or the charity of one's choice.
