Description	:	Robert (Bob) Watson or "Lefty," as he was known to his friends, was born Dec. 22, 1938, in Plainview, to Dale and Margaret (Chester) Watson. He peacefully left this world on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. Bob graduated Plainview High School in 1957. He married his high school sweetheart with whom he enjoyed 58 years of marriage. He peacefully left this world on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2015. Bob graduated Plainview High School in 1957. He married his high school sweetheart with whom he enjoyed 58 years of marriage. Through the course of his life, Bob wore many hats. He was farmer, a trucker, a pilot, the owner of Watson Motor Company along with his son, Rod and was a proud Harley-Davidson motorcyclist. He was Worshipful Master of the Plainview Masonic Lodge 204, a member of Eastern Star Mount Vernon Chapter 84, and achieved his 32nd degree at Tangier Shrine in Omaha. He also belonged to the Nebraska New Car Dealers' Association and many other community organizations while living in Plainview. Bob's many passions included golf, summer boating on the Missouri River, Husker football, NASCAR and riding his Harley cross country with his wife and little Yorkie dog as co-pilots. The trio covered over 300,000 miles in the past 13 years and set their wheels down in all but three of the 48 contiguous United States. Those who knew Bob knew he was full of life, opinions and always had a quick and witty response for anyone, ready or not. You could be sure that good times and laughter were going to surround him wherever his travels took him. He never knew a stranger and as he would so often say, "Life is a journey, not a destination." Bob will be dearly missed by his family and friends, including his spouse, Carolyn and Yorkie pal Harley David of Oro Valley, Ariz.; his son Rod (Cyd) Watson of Oro Valley; a daughter, Robyn Watson of Osmond; a daughter, Rashelle (Mike) Fenger of Omaha; and a son, Robby (Amy) Watson of Fairview, Tenn.; brothers Marvin (Jane) Watson of Lincoln, Rich (Nancy) Watson of Loveland, Colo.; and a sister, Trudy Geiger of Tucson, Ariz.; his grandchildren, Tony (Sadie) Watson, Austin (Cara) Watson, Markie Fenger, Tori Fenger and Jennifer Kopp; and his great-granddaughter, Olivia Watson.
