Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. MDT today at Seibel Funeral Home, Beulah. Bob was born Sept. 16, 1925, at Bismarck, a son of August and Amelia (Albers) Oestreich. He was raised and educated in the Hannover area and farmed on his father's homestead the majority of his life. On Dec. 25, 1947, he married Mary Keller at Hannover. He farmed and raised Hereford cattle and Quarter horses. Bob's favorite days were spent working cattle on horseback. Bob loved being able to spend Sunday afternoon with his family at rodeos or training cattle and horses. They moved to Beulah after Bob's retirement in 1997 and moved to the School House Apartments on Dec. 19, 1998. He was a past member and officer at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Hannover. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, Beulah, Stockmen's Association, N.D. Hereford Association, American Quarter Horse Association, was an Oliver County 4-H Leader, and a member and past board member of the Oliver County Livestock and Crop Association and a member of the N.D. Beef Cattle Improvement Association. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mary; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Kirk Maize, Beulah, and Sandy and Howard Bauer, Mandan; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Teena Oestreich, Dickinson; five grandchildren, Allen Maize, Amanda and Matthew Bauer, April and Jacques Oestreich; one sister, Louis Albers, Bowman; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Ted and Rosella Oestreich, Hannover, Leonard and Blanche Oestreich, Walla Walla, Wash.; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Roger Robert; and an infant brother, Harold. (Seibel Funeral Homes, Beulah and Hazen)
