He was a lifelong resident of Fremont and graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1957. He began his career at Fremont Department of Utilities that same year. Read More	Robert "BR" Realph, 71, of Fremont died Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, in his home surrounded by his family. BR was born July 30, 1939, in Fremont to Herb and Cecile (Mundy) Realph. He was a lifelong resident of Fremont and graduated from St. Patrick's High School in 1957. He began his career at Fremont Department of Utilities that same year. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1958 and served until 1960 aboard the aircraft carrier USS Yorktown in the Pacific and Japan. Upon his discharge from the Navy he returned to work for the Fremont Department of Utilities, working in various capacities. At the time of his death he was plant superintendent (the same held by his father until his death). He married Modene Tillman in September 1972. BR was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles 200, Masonic Lodge, MainStreet, Fremont Golf Club, S.I.D. Board at Lake Ventura, Ducks Unlimited and St. Patrick's Catholic Church. He is survived by: his wife, Modene of Fremont; son, Kip Realph of Los Angeles; daughters, Rinda Brown (and special friend, Chris Lenz) of Beebeetown, Iowa, and Marti Wilson of Omaha; stepsons, Rich Sanders of Maple Valley, Wash., and Rob Sanders of Los Angeles; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maridee and Bill Cunningham of Charlotte, N.C., and Kathy Callahan of Phoenix; brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Bernie Realph of Discovery Bay, Calif.; sisters-in-law and spouse, Dorinda and Don Beatty of Fremont and Bev Ralls of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob, Landon, Lena, Nicholas and Destiny; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, mother and two brothers. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 3400 E. 16th St., in Fremont with the Rev. Ron Battiato officiating. Visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at the church with a wake service at 7 p.m. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. A memorial fund has been established in memory of Bob Realph Bergan Tuition Endowment Fund or donor's choice. Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 5200 R St., in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.
