Read More	Robert Brideson died at his home near Beaver Crossing, Nebraska, Thursday, November 8, 1906, at the age of 76 years, 9 months and 8 days. Mr. Brideson leaves a wife and two daughters, Mrs. James Hannah and Miss Ethel Brideson, to mourn the death of a kind and loving husband and father. It was his sorrow to lose two small sons who preceded him to the other shore and were waiting to meet him where parting is no more. The funeral was held in the United Evangelical church at Beaver Crossing, Sunday, November 11, 1906, Rev. Lashell officiating, a large attendance of relatives, neighbors and friends being present. Robert Brideson was a Christian, a kind neighbor, and a man who commanded the respect of all who knew him. We fully sympathize with the mourning family and friends. Beaver Crossing Independent Examiner, Beaver Crossing, NE, Saturday, November 17, 1906 The continued sickness of Robert Brideson rendered him unable to perform his fall work on the farm, and in consideration of this fact and in appreciation of his kindness as a neighbor, his friends united in an old fashioned husking bee Wednesday and gathered his corn, the ladies going to their assistance with baskets of refreshments for the laborers. Those who engaged in this commendable act were: R. Slonecker, James Hannah, Guy Smith, Fred Geis, Harry Hannah, Fred Ault, B. A. Wash, Will Ritchie, Charles Witnah, Grant Clark, Dan Smith, J. W. Hannah, W. A. Reed, E. H. Agee and Chris Lehman On Same Page Robert Brideson, an old settler of this locality, died at his home two miles east of here Wednesday night. Mr. Brideson had been suffering from dropsy for some time, but his death came unexpectedly. It seems he was taking treatment and when his wife gave him his medicine he told her to go to sleep, which she did, and when she awakened she found that he has passed away.
