The late Mr. Brinkman was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Brinkman, pioneers of Mono. He was married in 1900 to Annie Lewis, who predeceased him 19 years ago. Read More	Shelburne Free Press & Economist, October 24, 1946 ROBERT BRINKMAN In his 86th year, Robert Brinkman passed away on Sunday, Sept. 29, 1946, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harold Robinson, Rosemont. The late Mr. Brinkman was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Brinkman, pioneers of Mono. He was married in 1900 to Annie Lewis, who predeceased him 19 years ago. He is survived by three daughters - Mrs. Elmer Horner, Whitfield; Mrs. L. McCabe, Fergus; Mrs. Harold Robinson, Rosemont. A brief service was held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. Robinson, with a public service, which was very largely attended at the Gamble funeral Home, Shelburne, at 2.30 Oct. 1st, Rev. W. J. Province, rector of St. Luke's, Rosemont, conducting the service. Interment took place in Shelburne Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. Norman Boyle, W. Thompson, John Bowers, L. Parson, Carl Shaw and Richard Cotton. The flower bearers were Irene Crooks, Marie Summerfield, Betty Robinson, John McCabe, Maurice Horner, Stanley Summerfield. Among the many beautiful floral tributes were: Pillow, from the daughters; wreath, grandchildren; basket, sons-in-law; basket, Brinkman nephews, Meaford; wreath, Mr. and Mrs. S. Shaw, Mrs. Summerfield and family; wreath, Mr. and Mrs. L. Moffat, Mr. and Mrs. R. Robinson; wreath, Mr. and Mrs. Don Allison and Miss Maggie Brinkman, Mr. and Mrs. L. Cotton; spray, Miss A. Thompson and pupils of Rosemont School. Friends from a distance were: Mr. and Mrs. S. Shaw, Carl Shaw, St. Thomas; Mr. and Mrs. A. Stone, Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brinkman and Garnet, Mr. and Mrs. Daws and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Will Brinkman, Mrs. Josh Brinkman, Meaford; Mrs. T.
