Read More	Robert CB "Bob" Vories, 92, died at his residence in Monticello on April 10, 2018. He was born on April 8, 1926 in Carroll County, IN to the late William Earl Vories and Merle Marie (Roach) Vories. On June 20, 1948 at the St. James Lutheran Church in Francesville, he married Mary Ellen Westfall; she passed away on June 7, 1999. Robert was a United States World War II Army Veteran. Bob had worked at the old RCA Factory in Monticello for over forty years. After RCA closed, Bob went to work at Jordan Manufacturing and the former A.O. Smith "Uppco" in Monticello. Bob enjoyed rebuilding cars. He was a professional picker before picking became so popular. He had bought several cars and tractors in pieces throughout his life and would put them all back together again and use them. He is survived by two daughters; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. In addition to his wife and parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Jesse Vories; infant sister, Esther Vories; and two half-sisters, Zelma Ogden and Dorothy Schmidt.
