Read More	The Edgar Sun (Edgar, NE), Friday, September 11, 1936; pg. 1 Robert Calvin Welch Robert Calvin Welch, the son of Harry and Lillie Welch, was born at Edgar, Nebraska, January 3, 1924 and died September 7, 1936 at Lincoln Nebraska, at the age of twelve years, eight months and four days. "Bobbie" had been visiting with his brother, Ward, and Mrs. Welch at Talmage and had just come home and was complaining at that time of not feeling well. A doctor was called and he died Monday afternoon of oxemia. He was reared in Edgar until three years ago when he moved with his mother and brothers to Lincoln, Nebraska and was in his sixth A work in the schools there. He was of a generous and friendly disposition and had many friends among older people as well as among the young. He leaves to mourn his departure his mother and two brothers, Ward A. of Talmage, Nebr., and William at home. Also many relatives and a host of friends. His father preceded him in death on December 3, 1931. Funeral services were held at two o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Presbyterian church (sic) of Edgar, Nebraska. Rev T. S. Hughes officiated. The pallbearers were Paul Stewart, Robert Merrill, Bill James, Bill Shuck, Harold Hayden and Justin Merrill. Music was furnished by a quartet composed of Clara Schlichtman, Katherine Hughes, Harold McGhie and Gerald Walley with Eileen Delaney at the Organ. Interment was made in the Edgar cemetery (sic).
