Description	:	Robert was the son of William Christie and Mary Ann Miller. Records show he immigrated in 1883 or 1884. He would have only been about 10 years old. A ship passenger list from Liverpool to Canada lists a 10 year old Robert Christie on a page with a ton of children. I don't understand the list or where the adults were. His brother, Thomas John, listed his immigration as 1870 or 1879, but he seemed to be in the 1881 England census with his mother, brother Robert, and a couple other siblings. His mother was widowed but I find no record... Read More	Robert was the son of William Christie and Mary Ann Miller. Records show he immigrated in 1883 or 1884. His brother, Thomas John, listed his immigration as 1870 or 1879, but he seemed to be in the 1881 England census with his mother, brother Robert, and a couple other siblings. His mother was widowed but I find no record of her immigrating. All very confusing. His Naturalization Record card states he immigrated in 1883 arriving at Richford, VT. On Aug 21, 1901 in Stratford, NH he married Isa M. Hardy, daughter of George H. Hardy and Mary D. Hill. Their children were Mary Geneva, Georgina Louise, an infant son in 1908, Thomas J (listed as Francis in 1910), Clifford Eugene, Ruth F, Frances E, Lester Leroy, Gordon Henry (listed as Chesley in 1920), Virginia Rosie, Barbara O, Franklin R. In 1910 it said they had 7 children born with only 3 living. Those 3 listed were Mary, Georgina, and Thomas. I haven't found records of the other 3 who died before 1910. I don't know if there were others. His wife, Isa, died in 1928 just four years after the last child was born, I believe. Age: 74yrs 8mos 13dys Cause of Death: Arteriosclerosis
