Description	:	Robert Columbus Gregory, 87, of Duncan, SC, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Jonesville, SC, he was the son of the late States J. and Clara (Worthy) Gregory. Retired after 40 years of service for Reeves Brothers, Fairforest Finishing Plant, he was a retired employee of TieTex Corporation, a U.S. Army World War II Veteran, and a member of Lyman First Baptist Church. Read More	Robert Columbus Gregory, 87, of Duncan, SC, died Friday, October 7, 2005 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Jonesville, SC, he was the son of the late States J. and Clara (Worthy) Gregory. Surviving are his wife, Mary (Dowis) Gregory of the home; a brother, Dean Gregory of Murphy, NC; and a sister, Hazel Farmer of Duncan. Mr. Gregory was predeceased by three brothers, Fay Gregory, Roy Gregory and Ralph Gregory; and by a sister, Mae Shipman. Funeral services were 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 10, 2005 at Lyman First Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jeff Hickman. Burial followed in Wood Memorial Park. Pallbearers weree Dean Dowis, Tim Dowis, Larry Arms, Mark Frost, Matthew Arms, Gary Hautamaki, John Dill, Kevin Crowe, Fred Mullinax and Dewayne Dowis. Honorary escort was the Heaven Bound Sunday School Class and employees of Taylors Auto Sales. Visitation was held 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2005 at Wood Mortuary.
