Description	:	Robert Stahly 96 of Hickman, NE passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Robert was born to Arnold & Florence Stahly on December 24, 1916 on the family farm where he continued to live out the rest of his life. Robert attended District 25 Rural Country School and graduated Hickman High School. He went on to attend Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln until the farm called him back home. Read More	Robert Stahly 96 of Hickman, NE passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013. Robert was born to Arnold & Florence Stahly on December 24, 1916 on the family farm where he continued to live out the rest of his life. Robert attended District 25 Rural Country School and graduated Hickman High School. He went on to attend Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln until the farm called him back home. He continued to farm all the rest of his life. The Stahly Farm received the Nebraska Pioneer Farm award for 100 years of continuous family ownership in 1998. He was a lifelong member of the Hickman Presbyterian Church. Survivors include Son John Stahly of Lincoln, NE, Daughters & Sons-in-law Ruth & Bill Daharsh of Cozad, NE, Mary & Monte Robinson of York, NE, and daughter Merna Beedle of Twin Falls, Idaho. 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Brother and Sister-in-law Arlo & Jeanice Stahly of Lincoln, NE, sister Louise Simmons of CA. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Gertrude, grandchildren Nathan Stahly and Bradley Beedle. Visitation will be Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 12-8pm at Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home, 211 East 1st Street Hickman, NE. Funeral will be 10:30 am Monday at Hickman Presbyterian Church and burial will follow at the Hickman Cemetery. Memorials to the Church.
