Description	:	Robert "Bob" D. Davis, 92, of Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at his home. He was born January 24, 1929, in Burlington, to Ennis and Edith (Harmon) Davis. He married Phyllis Cunningham in May of 1969, and she preceded him in death in on May 14, 1983. He was born January 24, 1929, in Burlington, to Ennis and Edith (Harmon) Davis. He married Phyllis Cunningham in May of 1969, and she preceded him in death in on May 14, 1983. On September 14, 1985, he married Marian (Jacobson) Fischer, and she preceded him in death on August 14, 2020. Bob graduated from Burlington High School in 1947. He went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean War from February 21, 1951 to February 18, 1953 and attained the rank of Sergeant First Class. He worked as an electrician for Davis Electric in Burlington and then later at Cuneo Press and retired from Haynes International in 1992. He was also a former volunteer firefighter at Burlington and Summitville. Bob especially enjoyed meeting with friends at his old house, which Pastor Mike Williams purchased, for Thursday Coffee Club. He was a member of the Shriners and the Burlington Church of Christ and was a lifetime member of the Burlington American Legion and the Burlington Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his niece, Vicky (Douglas) Davis; grandnieces, Lindsey Phipps and Aubrey Canal; step-daughter-in-law, Kathy Huffman, and her children, Ryan (Camie) Fischer, Natalie (Patrick) Grecu and Adam Fischer; step-great-grandchildren, Lauren Fischer, Jaelyn Fischer and Grayson Fischer; and sister-in-law, Norma Fristad. In addition his first wife, Phyllis Davis, and his second wife, Marian Davis, he was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard (Edna) Davis; step-daughter, Avis Fischer; and step-son, Gary Fischer. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, Burlington Chapel, 44 Michigan St., Burlington, beginning with a Masonic service and military honors. The funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Dave Osborne. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 to 4 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at 10 a.m. on Friday, January 21, 2022, in Vinson Memorial Park in Summitville. Contributions may be made in Bob's memory to the Burlington Church of Christ or the Burlington Masonic Lodge. Messages of condolence may be left online at www.stoutandson.com.
