On a bright and beautiful day on March 4, 1951 at the White Oak Methodist Church in rural Buffalo, IN, he married Patricia June "Pat" Nordyke; she passed away on December 22, 2016. Read More	Robert Dale "Bob" Hunt, 87, died on March 6, 2020 at his home in Middletown, DE. He was born on December 3, 1932 in Delphi, IN to the late Dale Alfred Hunt and Amelia Mina (Williams) Hunt. On a bright and beautiful day on March 4, 1951 at the White Oak Methodist Church in rural Buffalo, IN, he married Patricia June "Pat" Nordyke; she passed away on December 22, 2016. Bob had lived in rural Star City, IN area on the family farm most of his life before moving to Middletown, DE to be closer to his son. The home where Bob and his late wife lived in in rural Star City, IN was the same home Pat grew up in and there were both very proud the family has been in the same family for one hundred years. Bob was a member of the Zion Bethel Church and the Libanus Masonic Lodge #154 F.& A.M., both in Monticello, IN. He had a deep faith in the Lord and read his scriptures daily. Bob and Pat had a very dedicated life for each other. He is survived by two children; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by a grandson, Johnathan Porter. Visitation will be: from 12:00 noon to 2:30 PM on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home. Rev. Jeff Messer of the Zion Bethel Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Buffalo Cemetery.
