The Pembroke KY native was a retired city carrier for the Gallatin Post Office, member of Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church and a MSgt. in the U.S. Army for 25 years where he served his country with tours of duty in Korea, Germany and Viet Nam. Read More	Bobby D. Cook, 77, of Gallatin, TN died at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his residence. He was a son of the late George Washington Cook, Sr. and Jennie Lynn Morris Cook and husband of the late Virginia Sue "Ginny" Meador Cook. He is survived by his wife: Julia Irene "Renie" Oglesby Cook, Gallatin, TN; 2 sons: Terry M. Cook and wife, Caryn, Bowling Green, KY; Randy Cook and wife, Melisa, Scottsville, KY; 1 step daughter: Pam Chambers and husband, Gary, San Antonio, TX; 2 sisters: Marie Gilkey and husband, Adrian, Hopkinsville, KY and Lucille Molenda, FL; 5 grandchildren: Kinsey D. Cook, Cameron J. Cook, Chloe Cook, Lauryn Cook and Kayleigh Cook. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church with Bro. Gene Martino officiating and burial to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Allen County Memorial Gardens in Scottsville, KY with military honors. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday at Goad Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 11 a.m. until funeral time at Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Lambuth Memorial United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
