Description	:	Farm Accident Fatal For Robert Meisner. Robert D. Meisner, 25, died Wednesday, April 5, due to extensive injuries suffered in a farm accident. Meisner, cultivating on a farm owned by Robert Gerk, southwest of Holyoke, dismounted from his tractor, while it was still in motion, to clean the cultivator. Upon attempting to remount the tractor he lost his footing and fell beneath the cultivator, according to the Phillips County Sheriff's Department. Read More	Farm Accident Fatal For Robert Meisner. Robert D. Meisner, 25, died Wednesday, April 5, due to extensive injuries suffered in a farm accident. He was born August 28, 1946, in San Diego, California, the son of Robert J. and Ann Artzer Meisner. He moved to Sterling and Merino in 1947 and received his schooling in Merino, graduating from the Merino High School in 1964. He spent from 1965-69 in the U.S. Navy and served in the Vietnam theater of operations. Following his release from the Navy he lived in Hillrose for two years and at the time of his death was living in Holyoke. He was married to Adeline Kinney, November 10, 1967, in El Centro, California. Mass of the Resurrection was celebrated Saturday, April 8, from St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Sterling. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Jake Uhrig 3541, VFW, Sterling. He is survived his wife, Adeline; three daughters, Sheila, Amelia and Roberta, Holyoke; his parents and four sisters of Merino; two grandmothers, Mrs. Amelia Meisner, and Mrs. Magdaline Artzer, both of Sterling, and other relatives and friends.
