Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of the Resurrection in Huron with the Rev. James Zimmer officiating. Burial will be in the St. Martin Catholic Cemetery in Huron. Military rites will be conducted by the Huron Area Veterans Council. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m. at the Kuhler Funeral Home in Huron and Friday at the church prior to the services. Military rites will be conducted by the Huron Area Veterans Council. Visitation will be Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m. at the Kuhler Funeral Home in Huron and Friday at the church prior to the services. There will also be a Scripture service at 7:30 p.m. in the funeral home followed by a rosary Thursday. Roberts Sexton was born Nov. 28, 1931, at Crocker to Laurel and Emma (Miller) Sexton. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1951 and enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served overseas during the Korean Conflict until his discharge in 1955. He married Trela Barnes in 1955. He worked at Firestone in Van Nuys, Calif., from 1956 until 1963. They returned to Huron in 1964. He married Linda Schinkel in 1972. He had owned and operated his own business, Bob’s Radiator Service for the past 37 years. He married Bonnie Hofer at Huron Aug. 8, 1980. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, the American Legion and the VFW. He enjoyed reading. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Hofer of Huron; four children, Michelle Sexton of Huron, Tim Sexton of Fort Morgan, Colo., Sheila Phillips of Pueblo, Colo., and Jeanie and husband Daren Allerdings of Huron; four grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Madonna of Campbell, Calif., and John and Marlene of Lawrenceville, Ga.; and four sisters and two brothers-in-law, DeEtte Byer of Watertown, Beverly and Stan Thompson of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Betty Jo Fordyce of Watertown and Connie and Don Amy of Watertown.
