Description	:	Highland Recorder December 8, 1950 Robert E. Lee Grogg, age seventy-two, died at his home Nov. 26, 1950, following a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Nov 28 at the Union Chapel Church, with the Rev. Price Moore of the Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in the Union Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Grogg was born in Crabbottom, Va., April 27, 1878, and lived his entire life within the Blue Grass Valley. Mr. Grogg was born in Crabbottom, Va., April 27, 1878, and lived his entire life within the Blue Grass Valley. He was favorably known, and was always willing to perform his services as neighbor and friend as long as his health permitted. He was the son of Henry Grogg and Sarah Elizabeth Grogg (nee Helmick). Two brothers, David and Dyer, and one sister, Mrs. Bud Meadows, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife Ethel Jane Grogg (nee Puffenbarger); by three sons: Alfred of Pennsylvania, Elzie and Lacy at, home; by one daughter, Mrs. Okie Nipper of Blue Grass; by one sister Mrs. Kate Grogg of Blue Grass; and by four grandchildren. He was faithful in his attendance of church services and sunday school at the Union Chisel church, where he held his membership. Previously, he was a member and attended the Central Methodist Church.
