Bob was born in New England, N.D., to Michael and Monica Wilhelm, he was the 11th of 11 boys. As a child, he moved to Idaho with his family where he graduated from Post Falls High School and thereafter joined the United States Army. In 1956, he married his childhood sweetheart Donna Lou Critzer who preceded him in death in 2002. In 1966, Bob and Donna Lou opened Bob's 21 Club in Post Falls. Bob enjoyed traveling the world with is love, Donna Lou. He was an avid reader, a top notch pool and cribbage player, schooling many at the bar on how to play. Bob enjoyed his Cadillacs and always had to have one. He was involved in the building and fundraising of many parade floats in the '70s for the city of Post Falls. Bob was one of the longest business owners in the county. When he started Bob's 21 Club the population of Post Falls was only 2,500 people. He was a lifetime member of St. George's Catholic Church. Bob's passions were his late wife, Donna, his children and grandchildren. "We will miss you Daddy." He is susrvived by his children, Bobby Wilhelm of Post Falls, Tina Swanson, Henderson, Nev., Keva Wolfe, Post Falls, Carrie Diteman and Deanna Hubert of Bonney Lake; his grandchildren Casey Bruss, Wolfgang Wilhelm, James R. Crowe, Christina Stacy, Tiffany Cogburn, Shawn Diteman, Kaylie Diteman, Chanel Diteman, Makayla Barker and Cole Hubert. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at ENGLISH FUNERAL CHAPEL in Post Falls. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008, at St. George's Catholic Church in Post Falls, with the burial at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Spokane. Immediately following the burial, a recption will be held at St. George's Catholic Church; friends of the family are invited to attend a celebration of his life at Bob's 21 Club following the church reception.
