Description	:	Lancaster: Robert Earl Carr, 80, of Lancaster, Ohio, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009, at his residence. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on June 19, 1928. He relocated to Lancaster, Ohio at age 4 with his mother, Catherine, now deceased, and two sisters. Robert graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University. He enjoyed a lifelong career with the Anchor Hocking Corporation. He worshiped many years at St. John's Episcopal Church with his many friends there. Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife,Marion; and son, the Rev. Gregory Waddington. Dinkle Jr. of Dayton, Ohio and Mary Alice (Thomas) Drinkle Kuhn of Columbus, Ohio; daughters, Clare (Walter) Sellers of Columbus, Ohio, Mary (the Rev. Ronald) Albert of Caseville, Michigan, Graal (Jack) McKissocks of Altamont Springs, Florida and Amy (Gary) Witcher of Watertown, South Dakota; daughter-in-law, Miriam Waddington of Mesa, Arizona; and numerous niees, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. February 2 with the Rev. Bill Pursley officiating at St. John's Episcopal Church, 134 North Broad Street, Lancaster, Ohio 43130, with a celebration of life reception following in the undercroft of the church. Burial will take place at a later date in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Memorials may be offered to the Robert E. and Marion A. Carr Scholarship Fund, c/oFairfield County Foundation; St. John's Episcopal Church; or as the donor wishes.
