Description	:	Robert E. Covington, 77 of Cedar Rapids, died Jan 25, 1994 in Mercy Medical Center after a short illness. Services in St Paul's Lutheran Church in Marion. Entombment at Cedar memorial Park Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Diane Gudenkauf of Cheyenne, Wyo and Marlene DeGroot of Cedar Rapids, a brother, Basil of Norton, Ohio,and two sisters Velma Baily and June FitzSimmons both of Marion. He farmed for many years near Ryan until 1970, then worked at Mercy Medical Center in the laundry dept until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of St Paul's Lutheran Church and served in the Army in WWII/
