Description	:	The Recorder May 3, 1996 Robert E. Neil, 81, of McDowell, died Friday morning, April 26, 1996 at Rockingham Memorial Hospital. He was born Feb. 24, 1915 at Mint Springs, a son of William Hamilton and Mary Virginia Hooke Neil. Mr. Neil was a member of the McDowell Presbyterian Church. He was a farmer and a logger.
