Description	:	OBITUARY: Robert Edwaard Young, son of Isaac and Sarah Ferguson Young, was born August 7, 1872 at Hallock, Ill. The first 16 years of his life was spent in Illinois. He spent... Read More	OBITUARY: Robert Edwaard Young, son of Isaac and Sarah Ferguson Young, was born August 7, 1872 at Hallock, Ill. The first 16 years of his life was spent in Illinois. After his mother's death in 1888, he and his father came to Iowa and made Story county their home. In 1893, he was united in marriage to Margaret Wherry, and to this union was born four children; Lloyd, who passed away in 1935; Hugh of Jefferson, Ia.; Ira and Mrs. Mary McNiel of Los Angeles, Calif. He spent most of his life in Story county around the Shipley community where he farmed. He was well liked by his neighbors and friends. At 1:30 a.m. on April 30, 1951, at the home of his son, Hugh, in Jefferson, Ia., he departed from this life at the age of 78 years, eight months and 23 days, to serve his Lord and Master in a greater capacity in the Heavenly Home above. He leaves to mourn his departure, three children, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, as well as a host of neighbors and friends.
