Description	:	Rosary for Robert E. Groh, 53, a longtime farmer and rancher in Odessa, Wash., will be recited at 7 p.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Odessa, where he was a member. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Odessa Cemetery with Strate Funeral Home in Odessa in charge. Mr. Groh died Wednesday at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane after a long illness. Born on the family farm at Odessa, he graduated from Odessa High School in 1956 and worked on various area farms before serving a tour of duty in the Army in Alaska. He then returned to work with his father on the family farm and in the late 1960s took over operation of the farm, where he still raised wheat and cattle. Mr. Groh was a past board member of the Odessa Union Warehouse and a member of the Washington Cattlemen's Association, Washington Association of Wheat Growers and the Odessa Riders Club. He was a former member of the Odessa Gun Club. His wife of 21 years, Kathleen "Kit" (Kroiss) Groh, died last September after a short illness. Survivors include two daughters, Cindy Lee Groh and Mandi Groh, both of Odessa; his mother, Clara F. Groh of Odessa; four brothers, Clem Groh Jr. of Odessa; Marvin Groh of Almira, Wash.; John Groh of Harrington, Wash., and Tom Groh of Valleyford, Wash.; and five sisters, Helen Pierce and Marjorie Tebow, both of Odessa; Evelyn McCartney of Harrington, and Marion Aman and Patricia Jensen, both of Spokane.
