| Description | : | Bob attended Canyon Creek School and lived and worked on the family farm until 1941, when he entered the United States Army Air Corps, serving until 1945. On Feb. 23, 1946, he married Elvera Gabel. Both Bob and Elvera were confirmed at Pilgrim Congregational Church in Billings in 1934, where they remained members since. They were blessed with three children. As a partner with his brothers, Bob farmed in West Billings until retiring in 1980.
