Description	:	Robert "Bob" Eugene Harmon, 83, Peru, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in his home surrounded by his wife of 60 years and his three daughters, Deborah, Belinda and Barbara. Bob was born Feb. 28, 1930, the son of Alva and Freda Harmon. While in the U.S. Army, he served his country in the Occupation Services in Japan. Bob has been retired from Chrysler since 1980. Read More	Robert "Bob" Eugene Harmon, 83, Peru, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in his home surrounded by his wife of 60 years and his three daughters, Deborah, Belinda and Barbara. Bob was born Feb. 28, 1930, the son of Alva and Freda Harmon. While in the U.S. Army, he served his country in the Occupation Services in Japan. Bob has been retired from Chrysler since 1980. Since his retirement, Bob spent time traveling with his wife Nancy, and he loved spending time with his family. He was an avid hunter and spent the last 35 years hunting and fishing with his two lifelong friends, Joe Norris and Billy Adkinson. He also had a passion for motorcycles, which drew him to his buddies at Clown Town Cycles in Peru. He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Schick) Harmon, whom he married Dec. 27, 1952; his daughters, Deborah (Don) Rowden, Galveston, Belinda (Chip) Merriman, Indianapolis, and Barbara (Galen) Wells, Washington; brothers, Paul Wayne Harmon and William Harmon; sister, Martha (Harmon) Carpenter; 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all his nieces and nephews and all his family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his brother, Alva (Jr.) Harmon; parents, Alva and Freda Harmon; his son, Richard Harmon; and sister, Helen Smith. Friends may visit the family between the hours of 4 and 7 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home, Kokomo. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Pastors Rick Stone and Randy Smoot will officiate. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery.
