Description	:	Robert Eugene Turck, son of John H. Joeann (Mulroney) Turck, was born March 28, 1944 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. Bob received his education at Emmetsburg Catholic School, graduating in 1964. By the time Bob was in high school most of his siblings were scattered, therefore missing out on his sports achievements, sand pit escapades, midnight refueling and other antics we will forgive but never forget, because, Bob was Bob. Read More	Robert Eugene Turck, son of John H. Joeann (Mulroney) Turck, was born March 28, 1944 in Emmetsburg, Iowa. Bob received his education at Emmetsburg Catholic School, graduating in 1964. By the time Bob was in high school most of his siblings were scattered, therefore missing out on his sports achievements, sand pit escapades, midnight refueling and other antics we will forgive but never forget, because, Bob was Bob. During his high school years Bob spent the summers in LaGrange, Illinois with his brother Ron, sometimes working at the Reynolds Aluminum Company or on miscellaneous construction sites, in the Chicago area. After graduation, Bob attended college, followed by a brief stint at Emmetsburg Ready Mix Company. He then moved to Chicago. In the early 1970's Bob worked for Bell Metal Manufacturing, converting their manual systems to computer use. After leaving Bell Manufacturing, in July 1979, Bob joined his brother Mike in the moving business. He became a popular face on the DePaul University Campuses, as the account representative for over thirty years. Bob had recently enrolled in some college classes and was brushing up on his biology subjects. Through all the years he enjoyed reminiscing about his Emmetsburg Catholic High School classmates, especially his football and basketball team mates. The last few years threw some big challenges at Bob. The first was the small strokes, then the heart surgery, pneumonia, meningitis and most recently a dose of cancer. Bob with his partner Alison Elms at his side fought right back every time. Bob passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at the age of 68. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sisters, Shirley (Mert) Roehler, Jim (Donna) Turck, Mary (Gerry) Zeimet, Marty Turck and four infants siblings, Helen, Alice, Thomas and Margaret. He is survived by his special partner, Alison Elms of Chicago, IL; brothers, John (Chris) Turck of Corpus Christi, TX, Ron (Lenny) Turck of Killeen, TX, Terry (Elaine) Turck of Portland, OR, Mike (Loni) Turck of Chicago, IL, Don (Jeannie) Turck of Des Moines, IA, Wayne Turck of Windsor Locks, CT, Jerry (Dora) Turck of Everett, WA; sister, Jeanne (Maurice) Drew of Cylinder, IA, Mary (Dean) Lovell, Sheila (Don) Atkinson, Cathy (Rick) Dale of Bancroft, IA; many nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as many other relatives and friends.
