City, NE; two great-grandchildren: Justus Kreifels and Aca Andrew; siblings: Ronald DeVorss and wife Carolee of Tecumseh, NE; Lorraine Rico and husband Joe of Nebr. City, NE; sisters-in-law: Phyllis Curry of Auburn, NE; Jean Slagle of Tecumseh, NE and Sally Yates of Lincoln, NE and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Floyd and Elsie DeVorss; mother and father in law: Pete and Marie Yates; sisters Wanda McGuire and Dorothy Morris; brother Richard DeVorss; brother-in-law Donald Yates and daughter-in-law Susan Elaine DeVorss. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Gude Mortuary in Nebr. City with Fr. Mark Cyza officiating. Burial will be at Wyuka Cemetery in Nebr. City, NE with Military Services conducted by the United States Air Force Funeral Honors Detail.
