Description	:	According to 'History of Alachua County 1824-1969' by Jess G. Davis page 49 this cemetery is named Arredonda. Husband of Amelia Ellen (Haile) Taylor. "Judge Taylor was named Justice of the Florida Supreme Court in 1906 and moved with his family to Tallahassee. Judge and Mrs. Taylor's daughter, Ena, married an Attorney General in Tallahassee in 1906, William Hall Ellis. William Hall Ellis later became a Justice of the Florida Supreme Court. C., March 10, 1849; son of John Morgandollar and Maria (Baker) Taylor. Educated at home by private tutors and at Md. Mil. Inst., near Baltimore; studied law in office of Hon. James B. Dawkins at Gainesville, Fla. Was reared on an ante-bellum plantation in Marion Co., Fla.; was admitted to the bar in 1870; at once became a law partner to Judge James B. Dawkins at Gainesville, where he successfully practiced law until Jan., 1891, when he was appointed as Justice of the Sup. Ct. of Fla., which position he has filled by successive elections every six years until the present time, having been re-elected in Nov., 1910, for another term of six years. He married Amelia E. Haile, of Fla. Feb, 1872; two children: Serena Haile (M. Hon. W.H. Ellis of Fla.); Carl Hugo (died at age of 13). Democrat.
