Description	:	Andrews Robert Freeman of the Big Dam Swamp section near Andrews died at his home Saturday after a period of declining health. Funeral services will take place Monday at 2 p.m. from Piney Forest Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Jack Cook, Mayer Funeral Home said. Mr. Freeman was born in the Big Dam Swamp section Nov. 1, 1886. He was reared and spent his entire life in that area. He was a farmer until ill health forced him to retire. He was also a minister for 55 years and a member of Mount Caswell Free Will Holiness Church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elizabeth Haseldon Freeman, to whom he would have been married 40 years on Feb. 17; two sons, Robert Freeman Jr. of Georgetown and Timothy Freeman of Grove City, Fla; three daughters, Mrs. Paul (Frances) Hooper of Essex, Md., Mrs. William (Bertie) Williams of Tampa, and Mrs. Sam (Lydia) Rucci of Baltimore; 15 grandchildren; one great grandchild; a half-brother, Gary Etheridge of Andrews and three half-sisters, Mrs. Annie Etheridge of High Point, N.C., Mrs. Alice Casselman of Andrews, and Mrs. Bell Casselman of Pawleys Island; and several nieces and nephews.
